Statewide Fall Leader Training
Deschutes County is preparing to do a leader training this fall…We want to include project areas that have not been recently served and/or areas realizing major changes. Additionally, if there are other areas of training folks are looking for, we want to know what you want and suggested instructors of those areas…Help us help you! What is Deschutes County Teen Staff?
Deschutes County Teen Staff is a select group of 4-H members, grades 7-12, who lead our 4-H program by example, by action and by attitude. These members become part of the 4-H Leadership project and fill out yearly project records for their 4-H record books. They run events, teach, speak, and represent 4-H to the public at many functions throughout the year. Teen Staff also raises funds to offer college scholarships to graduating 4-H seniors. In addition to all these, the Teen Staff holds fun get-togethers each year as well.
